Internal job applications

I would love some advice. I’ve been working with UHG for about 4 years. I’m currently working in a position that has no opportunities for growth. I have a deep longing for a transition in the company because I don’t align with my current position anymore to the point of feeling mentally drained.

I’m half way through my masters program in Healthcare security IT and I’ve had experience with quality. For the last couple of months, I’ve applied to multiple internal job postings and have gotten rejected. I’ve even signed up for career coaching within the company to help and I incorporated the advice to my resume tailoring.

After many months I finally got an interview for an analytical position (which I’d feel like I’d excel in based on my skills). I went through two rounds of interviews, I thought it went well… then I find out they chose another candidate. I’m honestly so depleted. I don’t know what else to do. I’d truly appreciate any advice and shared opportunities available. I hope everyone has a great work week!

Lack of consideration??

I moved out of state with a friend a couple of months ago. Besides college dorming, this is the first time I’ve had a roommate in an apartment. I would like some advice.

I (25F) work from home and I’m in grad school, I’m home majority of the time but I don’t really date because I’m busy. My roommate (26F) has a more flexible schedule and she’s dating. She went on a date with a younger guy and she came back and told me all about it and how he was trying to convince his way to come inside. During that convo, i told her just for safety reasons don’t let him in until she gets to know him, since we just moved a few months ago. She’s had a guy over before but we both had gotten to know him at that point so it was comfortable.

Fast forward to their second date one week later, he ends up sleeping over because they had plans in the morning and he lives far. No big deal but then he slept over again that night, so 2 nights in a row. Then it was about to be 3 nights in a row until it got awkward due to me walking in the living room to him on of top her while making out on the couch. By then I was annoyed because I feel like he has gotten very comfortable already, in one instance he was shirtless just chilling with her on the couch. If it was her boyfriend that I’m familiar with then I probably wouldn’t mind as much but she had just met him a little over 2 weeks ago at that point. So I had a conversation with her about not letting him get too comfortable and she got defensive and basically said “I’m an adult and I like him. I don’t feel unsafe with him and I’m not going to stop inviting him over”. It made me feel completely disregarded but whatever.

Anyways.. she started telling me a few days before about some bug bites that she had allll over her butt and back. At first I didn’t think anything about it, I thought maybe mosquitoes until I got 1-2 bites. Mind you i barely go out so I started freaking out after researching signs of bed bugs. My roommate has had her date over and her aunt visited with her cousin from another country in the last week or so, so idk if it is bed bugs or who/where it came from exactly. She’s also someone who would come in from being out and get in her bed a lot of times with outside clothes so that could also be it idk. We did the proper pest control steps to mitigate any further spread. Then 2 days later she invited him over and he sleeps over… I was unaware that he was over until I walked out in the kitchen with my robe on and he’s in the kitchen with her.

I feel like that’s a blatant disregard of our conversation especially because she didn’t even make me aware that he’s over & also uncleanly. Am I wrong?? I’m kind of over feeling unheard, I’m about to start looking for my own place even though the process is annoying mentally & financially. I just need advice

Edit: also on the second day he came over, he literally bypassed our outside security gate when he was coming to pick her up. I texted her when she left and asked her if it was him that was walking up to our door and she texted back saying “the door was open” & “lol same!! I was freaked out”… So that’s even more of a reason why I had to have that conversation with her to tell him not to get too comfortable

The tirz effect

I actually wish I started sooner omg! As a PCOS/PMOS girlie, I have struggled for years with a plethora of symptoms. My weight loss journey actually felt impossible at times.. it was draining to be in the gym all the time and seeing little to no progress. After some apprehension about GLPs I thought to myself, it doesn’t hurt to just try.. I’ve already been dealing with the PCOS struggles. 2 months on tirzepatide and I’m actually surprised at the small transformation already! After putting these pics side by side, I’m even more excited to continue, especially once I’m consistent in the gym. I’d really appreciate any advice for my GLP journey please🫶🏿

(P.S. If anyone was wondering, I use LifeRx.MD and it’s been smooth so far, thankfully)
