Something I wish could be added

I love this game and know it's very extensive. I love how in depth the dating is, the presence of a whole other mermaid world etc etc. My wish is just a personal one, not something I think the game is missing per say.

I want a stand where I can sell my goods! In one of the story of seasons games, you could sell your goods from a stand and even have the villagers haggle with you. Unfortunately, some of the recipes you create sell for less than the individual materials, so it felt like you got punished for selling your goods.

I'd love coral island to implement something like this where the profits actually work out. Being able to ship my products isn't the same as being able to display them all in a stand and sell them. Even without the haggling aspect it would be so fun. They could make it so that if you're selling something a character loves, they're guaranteed to buy it.

I would even pay for a dlc for this 😂 but I know I'm a minority lmao. This game has so many fun artisan products, I wanna be able to show them off lol.

So Golda is now saying her boyfriend's abusive behavior is because he was gay?

This is so incredibly offensive. I'm infuriated. Gay men don't deserve this.

Curious about some influencers who went MIA

Okay, this is my last post before I have to go back to work 😂.

Does anyone know what happened to Sophia the jew and chaya Sarah? Chaya's content is still there she just never posts. But Sophia wiped her page and I'm just wondering if her babies are okay etc.

I'm so glad this sub exists

I'm not Jewish, but a few years ago I ended up down an orthodox jewish influencer rabbit hole because of Miriam randomly coming up on my fyp. I have no one else to talk to about them though because I think it makes me sound a little crazy 😂.

Anyway, Golda confuses me. She used to speak out so much for victims and women's rights? And now she's gone back to being tznius (which doesn't have to be bad in and of itself) but also had such a weird reaction to flatbush girl imo? I don't know why she would treat someone who is trying to help women the way she did, even if she doesn't agree with the method.

And her apologizing for her article about sexism??? It honestly feels like she's spiraling and having another trauma reaction, but idk if I'm missing anything as an outsider. I just don't know how, after everything that was done to her, she could back track so much.

Daisy's real name...

Oh my gosh. I googled her name to see if there would be any clues to her parentage, but the result is even funnier 😂.

They literally named her Pearl Daisy 😂😂😂😂

CW for discussions about rape of women and girls.

So in the book, we know Becka was assaulted by her father and that's one of the reasons she's so terrified to become a wife. There have been a few posts/comments on this sub about how Becka seems comfortable around her father and not afraid of him. (Based mainly on her telling Agnes, he will take good care of her.)

There are a LOT of reasons that could be, and I'm not dismissing any of them, just adding my own.

If anyone has seen the movie Women Talking, the movie is inspired by a real incident where Amish women were regularly raped by the men in their community. The men used gas (I forget which kind) pumped into the windows to make the women and girls pass out and stay asleep for the rape.

The women eventually figured it out (I think someone woke up?) Though many of them couldn't remember the exact incidents. Regardless, they would wake up knowing SOMETHING had happened and it was extremely traumatizing for them all.

The scene where Agnes is at the dentist being put under, and terrified of being unconscious around the dentist reminded me of that movie/incident.

Now we already know that the dentist uses this method to sexually assault girls. I think it's possible that he has done the same to Becka, and she might not have specific memories but still holds the trauma of those incidents. I think it would be interesting if the show explored that.

On a side note, that scene was so terrifying. I felt like I was as scared for Agnes as she was for herself. It was awful.
