What makes an affiliate program actually worth joining as a creator?

What makes an affiliate program actually worth joining as a creator?

Hey everyone! I’m a brand owner building out an affiliate program and I want to hear directly from creators and affiliate marketers about what actually makes a program worth joining.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback on things like:
What makes you say “yes” to a brand’s affiliate program?

What commission structure feels fair?

How important are cookie length, payout frequency, and minimum payout thresholds?

What kind of support do you want from the brand?

How much creative freedom do you expect?

What makes an affiliate program feel easy to promote?

What are the biggest red flags that make you avoid a program?

Do you prefer strong brand assets, sample products, custom codes, landing pages, or all of the above?

What makes you feel confident that a program will actually convert?

I’m trying to build something that works well for creators and still makes sense for the brand, so I’d love to hear what matters most to you, especially if you’ve joined programs that were great, average, or frustrating.

If you’re open to sharing, I’d also love to know:

  1. What niche you’re in.
  2. What platform you create on.
  3. What your ideal affiliate setup looks like.

Thanks in advance — I’m really looking to learn from people who’ve actually done this.

OG TaylorMade Stealth Face Flew Off

Was playing a round yesterday with the wife and another couple we got paired with. I hit my OG Stealth driver on the 5th hole at Oak Creek Golf Club and the carbon face flew right off. I know this has happened to a lot of TaylorMade drivers but just didn’t think it would happen to me.

I’m going to reach out to TaylorMade to see what can be done.

Update: Despite my best efforts, TM is only offering 30% off a full priced items on TaylorMade.com. I was really hoping for more, but it is what it is.
