Women's Learn to Ride Clinics (Ottawa, Canada)

Hi everyone! Please remove this if it's not allowed, but I think this might have a place here.

If you're a woman living in Ottawa or surrounding areas and are looking to learn how to ride your bike or work on basic bike skills, there's a 4 week learn to ride your bike program happening out of the YMCA in Clarence-Rockland on Wednesdays this June.

The course is run by Julie Hutsebaut, a certified cycling coach, and costs $86.95 for all four sessions if you're not a YMCA member/$65 if you are a member.

Registration is done via the YMCA website.

I'm just sharing this on Julie's behalf, so if you have any questions about the course, don't be afraid to contact her!

Exactly what the title says. I get in the queue, I get my call back, I pick up the phone and the system hangs up on me immediately.

When I try to call back 811, it says something along the lines of "We've called you three times, your request is cancelled. Goodbye." and hangs up with no other options. If I wait a few minutes to call back, it just puts me in the initial request queue again where I provide my info and get told someone will call me back. I've tried doing this online too with the same problem.

Initially I thought it was my phone screening my calls, but I turned off all of those features to allow the call through and it's still doing this. I've even checked my missed calls from unknown callers, and it appears the system only calls me once and hangs up.

I've been trying to get an appointment for three days and I'm not sure how else to get around this. I have a non-urgent injury I need checked and this is driving me insane.

Anyone run into this before? How did you get around it?
