B300 and a 1HP well pump

I bought this unit in hopes of being able to run my 230v 1HP well pump. It works only if I use it to wash my hands and light usage. The moment I let the water run, shower or wash clothes, the B300 cannot handle the surge and it trips from a 2400W surge. I thought this unit has potential for power lifting up to 7800w surge or at least 3840w?

The unit is set at 240v mode.

A little disappointed but it's a good unit so far.

Any idea how I can make the well pump not trip the machine?

Edit: Apex300, not b300. I do have a b300 expansion battery.

Lucked out with a zen master

Sukha is the most spiritual bird I have.

Rain or shine, he's always calm.

Oh, but he'll scream at the top of his lungs if there are strangers or predators.

Most shy girl

It's a treat when Emma wants to play since she usually keeps a safe distance. Her feathers are the softest like silk. While Bebe, the one at the back constantly wants hugs and pets; she would go "wuuuuuuu" in jealousy when I pet another geese infront of her.

Any of you successful with 2 boys together only?

My 2 roosters keep waking me up between 4-5am. They don't stop. They each have 4 and 3 girls each respectively. Their hutch is on my porch. I'm thinking about moving the roosters farther away and bringing them back to the females for play once awhile. Most likely they'll hurt or kill eachother correct? I want my precious sleep.

What kind of layer feed are you giving your ladies?

Have to prepare layer feed for my quails.

I think the duck's 18% layer pellets are too big for the quails.

I have 20% starter feed, I can supplement with calcium carbonate or put egg shells on the side.

What are you doing for calcium?

I've seen some layer crumbles in other stores but nowhere near me.

Long neck jumbo white quail

Here's my long neck jumbo white quail.

Sorry, I just had to 😂

It's molting season and he lost his tail/flight feathers.

This is beautiful Sukha, hoping he regrows some beautiful feathers this season!

Lightning feet or slowpoke snails

Which group are your geese?

Sukha is the only one that can catch up.

He's sometimes torn between slowing down for the slow trio or speeding up to catch up with me.

As a gosling, he always tried to race me

He developed wet feathers but his legs are still as fast as ever.

Cost $32 so far

Version 1.0 in the making.

The lumber was $30 to build this much.

6 of 2x4x8 spruce lumber untreated.

Screws about $2 or less.

The plastic wrap is free. I'm going to wrap it around the bottom of the wood. I figured it'll keep the lumber longer from any moisture from food, water and poop.

I bought the 2x4 and cut them in half myself to save money.

No doors, watering system, latches, hardware cloth(most expensive), poo trays yet.

The angled hutch is for an egg collection tray (hopefully it works).

Dimensions are 1.4ftx4.2ft per level and the whole hutch is 6ft high. I may cut off the legs a bit as I'm shorter.

Watched many hours of quail hutches to see what I enjoyed.

I like the poo trays(easy to clean).

I like them 12" high (less chance of death).

I like the tilted bottom so eggs roll out(easy collection, less chance of egg eaters and no need to disturb them).

Currently raising ducks and geese. Quails are a new project. Hope this home will be good for 8-10 per level as according to Myshirefarms 3.5 quail/SF or 3 Jumbos/SF. I could go for 17-20 per level if I follow that rule of thumb but I want my quail to have slightly more room. I plan to build a walk-in aviary later on.

How are your Muscovy ducks?

I'm looking to add a few more members to my flock of layers and stuck between Ancona, Magpie and Muscovy.

I'm leaning towards Muscovy because I am seeking peace and quiet. The runners are way too hyperactive and loud. Even my geese are like angels compared to the runners.

How often do your Muscovy lay and are they actually quiet/peaceful?

She only laid one egg. ONE the entire season.

Maybe she's fattening up for more.

Her weight is accumulating though.
