Náhuatl syllabary I made when I was 16

Most symbols were based on Mexica hieroglyphs, some.others on the Náhuatl Uniform Abugida, on the Latin alphabet, or on Hiragana

Native American languages sure do get fetishized

Like mogs, bags, etc. that say a Native American word with "he who talks with his heart" and it's just the word for singer in Nahuatl or something (cuicani/kwikani)

My Dad has /x/ vs /h/ in Spanish

He says:

Herpes, Hanukkah, hardware, hobby, historia (yeah, with a /h/), etc.

While juego, jabón, jamón, jefe, viejo, etc. with /x/

How much contact did ppl in England have with French 1100-1500?

Normally it's said that French was just the language of the elite, but if that were true, then how come words for common everyday life things (that already existed in Old English) got replaced by French words?

Like face, uncle, language, voice, or because

El señor barriga is doing money laundering [el chavo del ocho]

Think about it, he has a vecindad where there are relatively few residents, and one of them owes him like 14 months of rent

In usual circumstances, Don Ramón would have been out by month 3, but he isn't, why? Cuz being a landlord is not his real business

So he just uses all of it as a façade like the car wash in BB
