Corsage/boutonniere old-fashioned?

Question for moms & dads to-be:
We are throwing a baby shower for my son and daughter-in-love and I’d like to get them a corsage and boutonnière to wear during the event. Is this too old-fashioned or a nice touch?
What’s your opinion? 💕

Sorry for the vent...Looking to see if anyone else feels like this.

I enjoy walking as much as possible, esp. for my primary exercise. Wore through my fav "sneakers" back during covid and have been trying to find a replacement ever since. (They're not made any longer.)

My vent/question...Am I the only one feeling like trying to find a comfortable shoe is a TASK? I've tried so many. Here's my vent: In-store a shoe will feel fine. I walk around and think, "Yep, these will work." I get home, try to do my regular outdoor walk for a few miles and my ankles slip, or most recently, my knee hurts. Wondering if the knee thing is the shoe correcting my gait. Last summer, because I couldn't find any true athletic shoe for serious walking, I just walked everywhere in my Hey Dudes and Birkenstocks when it was warm enough. My latest attempt, and I'm wearing them now, are Merrell Antora. Thought they would be good because I love my Moabs for hiking, but thought maybe something lighter would be better for daily outdoor/ sidewalk walking.

Anyone else have this issue? Could it just be I need a break-in period? Thanks for the space to vent! ◡̈

Hi! Perhaps this seems obvious, but I like to carry my lip balm in my pocket, pretty much any time I'm wearing an outfit w/pockets. As type-a as this may sound, some lip balms aren't really pocket friendly as they are either messy, leak, too fat, etc.

So my question is, do y'all have recommendations for SPF balms and non-SPF that you love and fit nicely in your pocket? ◡̈

I currently am enjoying Kobee's brand, but am up for new suggestions as theirs take awhile to arrive after ordering and their SPF makes my lips white.
