Every company has this challenge - how do you prospect in GDPR strict countries? What are the consequences? What are the trade offs?

I couldn't answer these questions until I found Nicolas Schell who runs Scalantec, a boutique AI GTM & RevOps agency in Berlin, Germany.

AMA is today (Thursday, Oct 1, 2026) from 2:30-3:30PM EST.

Recaps & insights will drop on GTM Engineering Newsletter. Recent summaries:

Where should GTM Engineering report up to?

Our company has it reporting into the VP of Revenue Platform. This leader oversees: RevOps, GTM Engineering, Solution Engineering and the Forward Deployed Engineers.

I’ve seen GTM Engineers also report to:

- RevOps
- Strategy & Operations
- CRO
- GTM Systems

For reference our company size is around 600 people.

We don’t have a CRO, but I can see the Revenue Platform team move under that leader if one is hired.

I don’t think there’s necessarily a right answer here. But hoping a discussion will help others decide what makes sense for them.

Anyone have any Clay + Lovable use cases?

Clay and Lovable now have a connector. Curious if anyone is using it and building anything cool/useful

Anyone using Jev in any GTM use cases?

I can see if very useful for:

- Personalizing websites for users
- Lead scoring
- Building Clay workflows rapidly
- Analyzing competitive ads at scale to figure out what continued running / what got killed
- SEO/AEO opportunities

AMA: How to build a solo $1M AI GTM Agency with Jeff Ignacio

https://preview.redd.it/e47sq9ssp4nh1.png?width=2160&format=png&auto=webp&s=02abdb0c9799138cace83068be97c932bf0f70e1

Jeff Ignacio left his VP of RevOps post to start his AI GTM Agency. He's answering questions on how he's building his business. He also writes the RevOps Impact Newsletter that over 6,000 RevOps leaders subscribe to.

Software companies aren't the best place to make money now. The new way is to build an AI agency: orgs spend $6 on services for every $1 on software. This is why ICs & Execs are leaving their jobs to make serious $$$$ (solo!) and change their lifestyle.

The opportunity to capture that labor budget is enormous. Solopreneurs have figured out you can stack 4 things:

- Provide a service and help orgs actually adopt AI
- Capture labor budgets by replacing work with agent outputs (you deliver)
- Build agents to scale how much you can deliver
- Run the business itself on agents, not headcount

Stack all four and you're running an agency that is no longer limited to by headcount and hours. As a solopreneur, you can scale to much larger than you'd expect.

I'm hosting these weekly. Check out the GTM Engineering AMA Recap #1: How Clay builds GTM systems at Clay

Upcoming AMA: How to build a solo $1M AI GTM Agency with Jeff Ignacio

Hey, Alex here. Mod of the subreddit.

This will be the 2nd AMA for GTM Builders featuring Jeff Ignacio, a former VP of RevOps, author of the RevOps Impact Newsletter, and one of the more AI-pilled operators I know in the community. He's shown me behind the scenes of how he's building systems to service customers and scale his agency. There's a lot to learn!

This is for anyone who is building and is thinking of building an AI / GTM agency.

Disclosure: I work at Clay. A small number of AMAs will be about how Clay does things internally (as lots are curious about this). However, I want to shed light on how operators elsewhere are doing GTM Engineering and highlight the tools, workflows, automations, systems, and how they're building their careers.

Would love to include your questions! Post them below.

The upcoming AMA:

  • Guest: Jeff Ignacio, AI GTM Agency owner
  • When: Wednesday, Sept 2nd
  • Time: 12PM EST
  • Where: Tune in on r/gtmengineering on a new AMA thread
  • Topics: How Jeff went solo and the things he's doing to scale his business.

What questions or things would you like to learn?

Upcoming AMA: How Clay's internal GTM Engineer builds systems that are scaling ARR from $25M to $250M ARR in 2 years

Hey, Alex here. Mod of the subreddit.

I'm planning to host weekly AMAs with operators who are building modern GTM systems.

My goal is to help bring more high quality content to the community.

Disclosure: I work at Clay. A small number of AMAs will be about how Clay does things internally (as lots are curious about this). However, I want to shed light on how operators elsewhere are doing GTM Engineering and highlight the tools, workflows, automations, systems, and how they're building their careers.

Just for simplicity and to get the ball rolling, the first AMA will be on Clay and how we do GTM Engineering internally.

The upcoming AMA:

  • Guest: Spencer Chemtob, GTM Engineer (internal)
  • When: Wednesday, August 26
  • Topics: How Spencer builds GTM systems that support the sales team

What questions or things would you like to learn?

Who else would you like me to bring on?

Input wanted - community guidelines

Hey everyone,

Mod here.

It's amazing to see the sub reddit grow over the past year.

Community guidelines were never setup (shame on me), so I'd love to crowdsource ideas/asks from the community as I start to draft one up.

My goal is for this to become one of the best places on the web to:

  1. Learn about GTM Engineering
  2. Learn how to integrate AI in GTM
  3. Find great resources that help the community get better at their craft
  4. Learn from each other

Right now - there is a lot of AI slop, product pitches, too much focus on cold outbound (and not other use cases) etc.

What would everyone like to see in the guidelines?

Thanks!
