Has anyone ever had a random user request to promote their content?

This is so strange, has anyone ever seen this and is this some kind of scam?

Has anyone figured out what the “Voted yumleaks on X 🍑” labels under TikTok comments actually are?

TLDR: I'm seeing TikTok comments from unrelated accounts with the same weird gray "Voted 'yumleaks on X
🍑*'" label underneath them, including on videos that have no poll. I'm trying to figure out what the label actually means, how these accounts are generating it, and whether it's being exploited as some kind of coordinated spam tactic**

I am unable to add screen shots to this post

if you have links to videos of other people's investigations (that don't contain gross material please post them here

—————————-

I've been seeing something really strange in TikTok comment sections lately and I'm trying to figure out what is actually happening.

Under seemingly normal comments, TikTok is displaying a gray label that says: "Voted 'yumleaks on X 🍑

The comments themselves are usually incredibly generic - things like "omg she is so cute” and l've seen multiple unrelated accounts with the exact same "Voted" label underneath them.

What initially caught my attention was seeing a bunch of these underneath viral videos from a creator who openly says she's 16. I thought the wording "yumleaks"+ 🍑 was pretty disturbing in that context.

Then it got weirder.

These tags or what ever they are have started showing up in my comments section on my CATS TikTok account (yes a feline CAT)

Is this some kind of spam technique where the "Voted" label is being exploited to advertise a search phrase?

And has anyone figured out why these accounts seem to be appearing in certain comment sections?

l've seen other people on Reddit mention the exact same phrase, so apparently I'm not the only person seeing it.

To be clear: I'm not claiming the creators whose videos these appear under are involved in anything. I'm trying to understand what the accounts leaving these comments are doing and what TikTok's "Voted" label actually represents.

EDIT / PLEASE READ:

My post got deleted from the TikTok Subreddit so I am posting here in hopes that as a community we can figure the best was to report this.

If you're seeing these "Voted 'yumleaks..." labels too, please add what you've observed here so we can document the pattern in one place.

Including links to TikTok videos of other people investigating (but not showing anything gross concerning content)

Also, screenshots of the label/comments, usernames, dates, links to the normal TikTok video where they appeared, whether there was actually a poll visible, and whether you've seen the same accounts/comments elsewhere are all helpful.

Please DO NOT search the phrase, follow suspicious links/accounts, or post/link any potentially illegal material here.

If you already encountered something concerning, you do not need to prove it to us by sharing it. Preserve the URL/ account information and report it through the appropriate channels.

Also, please distinguish what you personally observed from what you've heard or suspect. Multiple people are alleging that this spam is connected to CSAM, which is obviously extremely serious, but we have not independently established that connection or figured out exactly how TikTok's "Voted" label is being generated.

The goal here is to document the weird behavior, use this thread as a centralized investigative hub, understand the mechanism, and collect enough safe, verifiable information that TikTok and/or the appropriate authorities can investigate the part that none of us should be digging into ourselves. Thanks guys!!

Has anyone figured out what the “Voted ‘yumleaks on X 🍑’” labels under TikTok comments actually are?

TLDR: I’m seeing TikTok comments from unrelated accounts with the same weird gray “Voted ‘yumleaks on X 🍑***’”*** label underneath them, including on videos that have no poll. I’m trying to figure out what the label actually means, how these accounts are generating it, and whether it’s being exploited as some kind of coordinated spam tactic

I’ve added screen shots

—————-

I’ve been seeing something really strange in TikTok comment sections lately and I’m trying to figure out what is actually happening.

Under seemingly normal comments, TikTok is displaying a gray label that says: “Voted ‘yumleaks on X 🍑’”

The comments themselves are usually incredibly generic things like 🔥🔥🔥 or “omg she is so cute 🥺” and I’ve seen multiple unrelated accounts with the exact same “Voted” label underneath them.

What initially caught my attention was seeing a bunch of these underneath viral videos from a creator who openly says she’s 16. I thought the wording “yumleaks” + 🍑 was pretty disturbing in that context.

Then it got weirder.

I have a TikTok account for my cats/kitten, and I found the same type of comments underneath one particular video of her. The video is literally just my kitten remembering that she gives me a kiss before going to sleep. I haven’t noticed these labels on my other videos.

I understand that TikTok has/had voting or polling features, but there is no “yumleaks” poll on my video, obviously. Clicking the gray label also seems to do nothing.

So I’m trying to understand the actual mechanism here:
Are these accounts interacting with some separate poll called “yumleaks on X 🍑” and TikTok is somehow displaying that voting activity underneath comments they leave elsewhere?

Is this some kind of spam technique where the “Voted” label is being exploited to advertise a search phrase?

And has anyone figured out why these accounts seem to be appearing in certain comment sections?

I’ve seen other people on Reddit mention the exact same phrase, so apparently I’m not the only person seeing it.
To be clear: I’m not claiming the creators whose videos these appear under are involved in anything. I’m trying to understand what the accounts leaving these comments are doing and what TikTok’s “Voted” label actually represents.

Ellie Ellis had 6 followers 3 days ago. Now she has 400K+. POST THE FUCKING VIDEO.

I just came across Ellie Ellis’s account and this is actually insane.

In her first video, she literally says she doesn’t expect anyone to see it because she has 6 followers and that she’s only posting to gain confidence.

That was 3 days ago.

Now she has 400K+ followers, her first video has over 1M likes, and multiple videos have millions of views. No crazy editing. No huge production. Just a GRWM where she put the phone down and started talking.

Imagine almost not posting because you think nobody is going to watch. Social media is fucking wild.

If this isn’t your sign to keep posting, I don’t know what is 😂 Post the fucking video.

It IS your fault, not TikTok

I see a lot of people here complain that TikTok is the reason their videos aren’t performing well, and realistically, it’s simply because the video isn’t worthy.

Whether it’s because of its relevance, editing, etc, there IS an EXACT reason you didn’t go viral.

I like to compare making videos on TikTok with debugging code, we sit there for hours trying to debug (make a viral video), and when we can’t figure out why it’s not working, we say “how is this wrong, there’s no way there’s a bug here” (how is this not viral, it’s TikTok’s fault).

But eventually, as you become more consistent with posting (or you code more), you start to learn and pick up on small editing differences that make a BIG impact in how your video performs.

Don’t blame TikTok, just keep grinding, you’re grinding to LEARN (a skill), not make money (love what you do).

Keep going, but learn to LOVE what you do, it’s OBJECTIVELY the best approach.
