You may have seen some comments I’ve left here, trying super hard to paint a good picture of what a “good” pwBPD looks like, believing mine was.

I’m here to tell you they aren’t. Not unless they’re fully in remission. Which is extremely hard. And rare. Which means you wouldn’t be their “FP”, you’d be their partner, friend, or family member. A healthy title.

No, you’re not an exception as an “FP”.

I just blocked them. On everything. They were going through grief (their best friend has a life threatening illness), and decided to break up with me. Once I expressed sadness and started to pull away, they accused me of being vain and only caring about them when I’m in a relationship with them. I told them I’m willing to be a friend, but they wouldn’t believe me.

They started using loaded therapy terms, saying I was doing DARVO (a very real and heavily manipulative thing victims go through), when I knew for a fact I wasn’t. I checked in with my licensed therapist to make sure.

Then, they started to get condescending. Asking me about my meds. Saying IM splitting (I don’t have a personality disorder), saying EYE need to consult a third party to see that I’m wrong (I’ve consulted multiple people at that point) and that MY brain is on fire (something I coined to lighten the load on the word “splitting”. Since, when they split, they’re in denial about it).

I had to block them after pleading for them to stop. They wouldn’t. Said I needed to be checked on and that they’re “worried for me because I’m getting worse” (something I had insinuated in the conversation before, referring to their BPD).

Mine wasn’t different. I’ve lost hope. I want them to stay away. SO far away. They’re abusive. I couldn’t handle it.. and now my life is empty.
