Just wanted to post some pictures of when Keida's (15f) bleps! Enjoy!
Hello! Please excuse my crude drawing and my ignorance to terminology. Please feel free to kindly educate or correct me in the comments. I appreciate anyone willing to take the time to read what I have even though it's long.
I would like a new wedding ring for my 20th anniversary.
I have some vague ideas for what I would like, but I can't seem to find anything that matches it from my searches on Google and Etsy. If there's a better source for looking for rings, please tell me!
Things I am pretty sure I want:
-Teal sapphire or London blue topaz (if you know another gem with this type of coloring, please suggest!) as the main stone in the middle. Then I would love accent stones on both sides that are alexandrite.
-I love the trillion and princess cuts the best. But a pentagon (I think that's what they were calling it online?) shape may be best suited for what I'm looking for, so I'm willing to consider it.
- yellow gold or rose gold with a thicker/wider band.
- Bezel set or anything without prongs that will scratch things. The ring needs to be ok for everyday wear. So lower setting too if possible.
What I'm unsure on and would love advice and ideas:
-I'm not sure what cuts would look the best for accent stones
What I'm not really considering right now:
I see a lot of talk about carat of the gems and K for the gold, but I'm not sure those matter as much to me as the design of the ring so I'm willing to consider anything that would help the ring.
I'm trying to keep my cost low, so lab grown is totally fine, and lower quality metal. Ideally my budget is 1k, but I'm willing to go up to 3k for the perfect ring. So yes, low budget
Now to address the pictures-
1st picture are the general ideas I have. Sorry for the bad drawing, I hope you can understand what I'm trying to convey
The rest are just some things I found that are close to what I'm looking for but just not right.
2nd- one of the only trillion styles I've found that resemble what I'm looking for. I'm not in love with the accent stones. But maybe if it were with the stones and metal I prefer then maybe I would be happy with something like this
3rd- Again, something kinda what I'm looking for, but not sure how I feel about the accent stones.
4th- I like the stone placement, but would prefer a wider band. But not sure how that would look.
Ok now that I'm done with the details, I'm looking for feedback on the ring I'm looking for (do you think the gemstones will work together? Do you think the bezel setting will be ok?), ideas on the side stones, rings you may know of that are what I'm looking for that I haven't found, or a different way to approach the whole thing.
Thank you so much for any help and kind responses.
Every year we love going to the beautiful Ute Lodge in Colorado. They have a lot of dandelions so I thought I would take some pictures. I think they turned out!
Keida (15f)
Louie (2m) is my little contortionist. Show me yours!
Here's my now 5 year old single braincell tabby, named Cinnamon. I think he makes a fine specimen of the species.
I hope to post many more photos of this guy, I love this sub!
I admit that I'm ignorant to what this pattern is called as I've always just called it "Mexican blanket". I saw them on Amazon and had to get them.
I've been very interested in Techichi's and really want to learn more about them. Anyone have a YouTube or book they would recommend?
First two pictures are Keida (15f) and last two are Louie (2m).
Happy 2nd birthday to my sweet little floppy eared baby.
Wanted to share my little guy with everyone! Got him a puppacinno (or however they are spelled) yesterday, and lots of treats and loves today. Hopefully it's a good birthday.
His name is Louie! I introduced him earlier but you probably didn't see it. The last picture is when we celebrated his 1st birthday.
Wanted to share some pictures of my Keida as a young dog and what she looks like now as a 15 year old sweetheart. Honestly I just love all the white on her face, it makes her even more adorable I think. And now she comes with a consistent blep cause she's lost since teefs.
First 4 pictures of her in the first 5 years. Last 4 are within the last year or so.
This girl has been my baby for 15 years. Her name is Keida and she's such a sweet little Chihuahua. She can be a bit bossy but never spicy. She's the first child that behaved so well that I thought it was all about how you raise them and that I was an excellent chi parent. But then I got Louie (his introduction is next), and realized that spice is sometimes a bit hard to prevent with these little guys.
I would love to share more of my favorite pictures of Keida to this sub. And Louie. Louie turns 2 in a couple days and he's just so fun and cute, I can't get enough of him. He's got some papillon in him, so he's not purebred like Keida is, if you can see that from the picture. My camera roll is full of these two and so I created this account to share what I've accumulated.
I hope these two can bring you as much joy as all the other posts that bring me joy in this subreddit. I look forward to posting more about them!
In case it isn't clear 1st picture is Keida (15f) and the 2nd is Louie (2m)
