Does is matter what gen you secondary amp is when in stereo setup?

I'm debating buying a second katana to run in stereo with my MK2 and I have a couple questions.

If I'm running another amp in stereo, does it matter if it's an MK1? Is there any advantage to a newer model if I already like the sound I'm getting in mono?

I also want to run a stereo effect loop from my HX Effects pedal. Seems pretty straightforward to run the left and right to their respective amps. Curious if there is anything that might prevent that from working. I want to make sure before commiting to a second amp

Ran 18v into 9v Fat Fuzz Factory

I accidentally plugged in my pedal with a 18 volt power supply. I didn't even notice I had done it for a whole day because nothing seemed to go wrong with the pedal.

The pedal still functions normally and when I opened it up I didn't see / smell any burnt components. That being said I haven't done any pedal repair before. It does feel like the pedal has a harder time now cleaning up at low volumes and sounds more compressed now but I may just be in my own head.

If anyone knows how to verify if there was damage please let me know.

Cuphead error np-6182-7

I downloaded and installed cuphead but I keep getting an error when I launch the game. I can hear the game running in the background so it seems to be working but the error blocks the the screen
