IVF abroad (aka outside of USA)

TW: just had a miscarriage. Grieving, but planning for IVF. I'm from California so I'm looking to pay out of pocket but know it'll be expensive.

Who's done IVF outside of their home country to save on costs and where? What were your results and opinions? I am 42 btw.

TIA friends.

Navigating IVF post 40 TW

TW...

Newly pregnant at 42 after trying naturally and newly miscarried at 7 weeks sadly and currently grieving but planning for the future (also no other children). I want to get straight into IVF as soon as my HCG goes down to zero because I know age is not on my side. But I haven't mapped out the IVF journey.

What can and should I expect? ATM I only want to use my own eggs and they'd be from this age no previously frozen ones available.

I probably have to pay out of pocket based on my circumstances. But I understand the financial costs.

Brown, dark brown and now red discharge?

Hi I am 6 weeks 5 days and waiting on my first ultrasound in 3 days. After a week of basically light brown to super dark brown spotting... today I got bright red discharge. Some really tiny clots and blood not enough to soak a pad. Virtually no pain.

Anyone ever have this sequence and what was your outcome?

Scared -- this is my first pregnancy I'm 42. No ivf.

UPDATE: I bled more, went to get my U.S. and they found nothing. She believes it's an early loss. My HCG went down as well. So I'm sad but will keep trying. Thanks for the replies.

Success Stories Natural Conception?

Hi, I'm super early in my pregnancy. Just wondering if any ladies would share their successful, healthy pregnancies over 40 NOT using IVF or ART?

Thanks so much.

Anyone got HCG lines not as dark as control but still good outcome?

Hi community,

Wondering if anyone got any lines not as dark as control (ever) in HCG testing but pregnancy was OK?

Update: finally got pretty dark line 22dpo and more at 23-24 dpo.

But still not sure if will just wait for ultrasound in 2 weeks, or do more hcg testing (blood). Thinking what's the point of adding anxiety with betas when the best thing is to SEE via ultrasound. Thoughts?

What days DPO did your lines start to get almost as dark as the control line

Hi, I'm wondering for those of you tracking your HCG strips, at what point in DPO did your line almost become a "dye stealer?"

Hcg did not double

Hello friends I am concerned. At 11dpo I got a positive result from a cheapie. Next day 12dpo got a blood test for hcg and it was 63. Then 3 days later (66 hours later to be exact) it was 104.

First pregnancy and I am older.

What should I do? I did not order progesterone.
