Theory: Butterfly Wings was a remastered Of June Era demo

So I've thought this to myself for years but I'm curious if anyone's ever felt the same about it..

I listened to a high quality instrumental version of the song and it has such an evident "made in a laptop in a bedroom" type of production sound, and I certainly don't mean that in a bad way. When you layer in the lyrics and their subject matter, it sounds like something he would've written back in the early days of the project, think 2007 or early 2008.

It definitely sounds like he polished up the song's production and the vocals for the Ocean Eyes Deluxe release in 2010, similar to how he polished up the 2007 version of Hello Seattle and the 2008 versions of The Saltwater Room and On The Wing for the initial studio release of Ocean Eyes in 2009.

Thoughts?

28 M Straight - Profile Review

Been getting some matches here and there, with the occasional radio silence from some ladies. I haven't met anyone yet. Thoughts on the profile so far?

Any cultural exchange organizations?

I'm a monthly attendee of Dialogue Institute of Dallas' cultural exchange events, such as food festivals and Next Gen Professionals gamenight socials, however I was curious if anyone else recommends other cultural exchange events.

I'm interested in Southern European, Middle Eastern, African, and East Asian cultures. Please recommend! I'm interested in learning new things and perhaps pick up on a new language!

Public involvement in TxDOT planning and the Unified Transportation Program (UTP)

General public participation and two-way communication is essential to a Unified Transportation Program (UTP) project’s success, as it helps create a more transparent and representative project decision-making process. While the UTP is not a final step prior to the start of project construction, members of the public do have multiple opportunities to engage with and provide comments to their local TxDOT districts during the pre-construction process. Since each project must be awarded funding to proceed, local community engagement and support increases the likelihood of a project receiving funding in the UTP. Public involvement in TxDOT planning and the Unified Transportation Program

As part of the UTP public involvement effort, TxDOT conducts a public meeting and a public hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public input on the development of the upcoming year’s UTP, including the project selection process related to the UTP. The public is able to join the meeting and hearing virtually through links below and by phone. After each event, the presentation and recordings are made available for viewing on this page.

The following describes the full range of TxDOT involvement opportunities available to the public. See the Strategic Public Engagement Guidance document for more information regarding public involvement.

The public meeting and public hearing are conducted in English. Persons who have special communication or accommodation needs are encouraged to contact the TxDOT Transportation Planning and Programming Division by phone at 800-687-8108. Requests should be made at least three working days prior to a public meeting and/or public hearing. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate these needs. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

How early should I arrive for a local record store listening party?

I'm planning on attending the Josey Records (Dallas area) listening party, but I'm not sure how early to arrive as this is my first time attending this kind of event ever, and let alone an event at such a big record store like Josey. I already IM'd the record store for a recommended arrival time, but I was curious if y'all had any suggestions while I wait to hear back.

How's your Greyhound experience riding to/from OKC?

Might plan for a future cycling trip to OKC and maybe visit Tulsa via Greyhound, but where I'm from (DFW) Greyhound trips and their stations are very sketchy...not sure if experiences differ in Oklahoma
