We are an experienced team working on a social media project. On the lookout for a Product & Marketing Interns who actively use Reddit/Discord. The work will NOT require you to make any posts on Reddit/Discord. It’s just that using Reddit/Discord would make you better suited to perform and follow discussions. If you are an experienced moderator on Reddit/Discord, then even better.

This is a good opportunity to get hands-on experience in the social media industry while getting active mentorship. The engagement will give you a broad-spectrum exposure to all the key functions of a startup and  will help you identify where your core interest and aptitude lies.

Your primary responsibilities would be to assist the team to:

1. Manage the product roadmap while working with the engineering team.
2. Foster the social community and drive engagement.
3. Assist in conceptualising ideas, designing graphics, and writing copy.
4. Plan and maintain the monthly social media editorial calendar.
5. Stay up to date with current affairs, viral trends, and competitor activity.
6. Capture customer pain points to identify new product opportunities.

You would be a good match if you:

1. Are an active user (who posts/comments) on Reddit.
2. Have basic understanding of programming concepts (no need to be a coder yourself).
3. Like to study customer psychology and mechanics.
4. Interested to pursue a career in product management or marketing.
5. Have strong written communication skills and a creative bend.
6. Know how to use tools like Canva, Instagram Edits etc.
