AI mistake?

As you can hear, the “mmmm” thinking sound in this Italian story is literally pronounced “em em em em”

Ragland top-down sweater but with non-stockinette body

I have successfully knitted the TincanKnits Flax sweater 4 times now, and I want to move on to something more complicated--a sweater in a non-stockinette stitch. Can I adapt the pattern to a different stitch? What confuses me with that is keeping the raglan increases consistent with the pattern of the stitch.

For reference, I want to use the gradient blue yarn I put as the image for this post.

Becka Theory

I've seen theories floating around that the very female-coded "Eyes" who take Becka will turn her into a handmaid (sinner but fertile).

I think this is right, and specifically that she will be the MacKenzie's handmaid (which we know in the books Paula gets as Agnes approaches her marriage) as a warning to Agnes.

My failsafe way to avoid contention about grades after submission

This may not be possible in huge courses (unless you use your TAs well), but I wanted to share my failsafe way of ensuring I don't have disputes about grades after they are submitted.

Under the guise of ensuring I didn't miss anything, I ask my students to confirm that their grade looks correct (i.e. I didn't miss anything submitted on time, not an opportunity to turn in late work) before I submit it, with the caveat that if they don't reply by a certain date, then I assume everything is fine.

Just wanted to share this as the end of semester continues. You then also have evidence that you gave the students ample time to bring discrepancies to you should they want to challenge your grade.
