Got this elephant ear for $5 today

Got this elephant ear for $5 today

She mentioned it had some sun damage and she had a bunch of them. The leaf is still uncurling and stem seems pretty solid. I want to make it an indoor plant, but have never had one of these before.

Thoughts on if it will be okay and any tips on it being inside are appreciated :)

Just discovered rose bush in back yard…

So I just recently got into gardening and always ignored this bush (even completely chopped it last year whoops..) and learned today that it’s a rose bush! Does anyone have any guesses what kind of rose bush this could be? It has a stem that’s probably almost 8ft tall.

Thanks in advance!

Also to note - I just pulled the climbing weeds off it, trimmed some moldy stems, and treated it for mildew. And gave her a long deep water.

Experience with Texas pink pomegranate trees?

Curious what yalls growing experience has been with these if you’ve tried them? I want to do it in a large pot ideally as we already have a lot of trees in our yard.

I’ll take any tips you have. Thanks for your time in advance!

I just got into gardening and I love it 😭

Here are before and after pictures of what I’ve done so far after we bought our house! Redid the flower bed with mainly flowers and plants, with some veggies and fruit plants in pots! This weekend I’m putting garden beds in the side yard for watermelons

Excited to find this sub ❤️

Also, why do all home owners fill garden beds with rocks 😭 makes redoing anything hell on earth. The last home owners put rocks and stone everywhere and we just have piles of it now.
