I will be honest, I want the Tulu film industry to badly succeed. But the focus has been entirely on comedy films. Comedy that is devoid of humor and logic. And we keep doing this again and again. And stories are outdated as well. I am sick and tired of it. And if we keep doing this, we are not going to be heading anywhere.

We need Tulu films in genre of Thriller, Action, Drama, Crime and Sci-Fi. I want to see newer filmmakers experimenting with newer concepts and not the usual comedy films. And it is unfortunate how these troll pages hype these comedy Tulu films.

So if you are aspiring filmmaker, we need Tulu films with good story and less comedy or no comedy at all.

I am curious about what problems can be fixed in Tulunadu. And I am looking for serious problems that impact almost everyone in the region. I am making a list and then looking to build a solution for it.

Please do not complain or be pessimistic in the comments. We need to do everything to fix solutions ourselves if possible. Of course not all problems can be fixed but we need to see if we can fix problems ourselves.

Just a heads-up for those house hunting. If you're ever asked to pay a visiting or viewing fee to see a flat, please don't pay it. Property visits are free, and any such fee is a major red flag.

You only make payments after you've decided to rent the property and have verified everything. Paying just to view a flat is not normal and is often a scam.

I am starting a startup accelerator for builders in Tulunadu. And by builders I am talking about people who build hardware/software/AI. The accelerator will be happening in June of this year. It will first be a sprint where we select 100 teams and the teams have to make progress during the sprint. The top 20 teams will then be accepted into the accelerator. Since this is the first edition, I am looking to provide resources such as compute and credits.

The reason why I am doing is because I have been seeing a lot of college students build cool projects however are either forced to sit for placements or they just cannot move forward with the idea. So want to provide a launchpad where we allow people bet on themselve, convert their idea into an actual product and make progress.

So I am looking to connect with builder/hackers/founders here in r/tuluver. If you are building something cool, please do reach out. I would love to help.
