There is a video (I'm not sure of the original source) showing the final stages of the guys hand castings... Marks hand is on the finished piece. This warms my heart a little.

It also appears that Nicky will be putting tour rehearsal/updates on Substack... This has annoyed me as I'm still being tight and won't pay for it! 😂😂

Saw someone on X say "please sign a new record deal." Are Westlife now out of their current deal? All I can find for recent is EMI (Spectrum?), Warner (Wild Dreams) then Sony (25). I do know that a lot of their back catalogue is under Song because of the BMG merge. They seem to have hopped about a bit since their comeback, and I don't really have much understanding of why or who they are signed to for "new" music (assuming they even bother at this stage).

I'm sure this isn't just limited to boybands, but more and more frequently I'm seeing old boyband pictures that have been fed through ai so the bands don't even look like themselves and then fans are commenting "I love them" like it's normal.

I've seen Take That, Five and BSB but the worst (and maybe it's my algorithm) is Westlife ones. It baffles me that people are running (for example, old Smash Hits poster) photos into ai, getting literally a whole different looking band image and then posting to social media and people are okay with it.

Do you just scroll on past or do you point out ai slop? Currently I roll my eyes and scroll but it does annoy me enough to take to Reddit 😂😂

With about 46 days to go until the tour, do we think the rehearsals will start shortly with maybe some backstage photos/videos on social media? What are we hoping for in the way of staging, visuals and performance - if you could take things from previous tours and add into this one, like the Dreams Come True tour with the frame over the audience for example?

I'm really excited to see them again but I'm sad too but won't dwell on that.

I've seen a few interviews with Westlife over the last few months where the boys have been vague on concerts details. That's cool, I like a surprise, but I wondered at what point is everything actually locked in, stage is designed, song lists finalised, dance routines sorted etc. They kick off in September and that feels too close to not have everything "prepared". Is this normal practice for bands in general or are they keeping things close to their chest to create surprises?

If you could hear any song, without backing (think isolated vocals), what would you pick? Maybe not an obvious song, or ones done acapella. Like a deep cut?

I was listening to Another Life and thought, I'd love to hear it raw.

For those who have the stamps from last year, when do you think those photos were taken? 2025 or older and repurposed?

...and I really miss seeing new footage of Mark singing. So I went on YouTube and watched the Wild Dreams tour (thank you to whoever uploaded the Wembley show) and then fell down a rabbit hole of shows up until I guess he went off long term sick. The shows from SE Asia etc, you can see he looks thinner and almost tired/exhausted. Which I get because he had surgeries, pneumonia etc.

It got me wondering about why he didn't go long term sick after sepsis, instead of carrying on, getting worse.

Is this a case of being pushed by Louis, record companies, not wanting to let the band down?

There isn't really a point to this, just I really miss seeing him perform and whilst I'm looking forward to September and October, I'm genuinely gutted he won't be there.

Of course I'd rather he spent time getting healthier and stronger, it's just watching old concerts, it reminds me how good he is and how loved by the fans he is.

Does anyone on here pay for the substack subscription? I don't use it enough to justify another subscription payment and wondered if the paid content is worth it...

I'm having a rough day today and would like to see what songs people put on when they need to feel or to just zone out.

Has anyone tried to have a guess at songs for the show(s)? From things I've heard (interviews etc), Picture of You, Words and A Different Beat are included. I think I read 25 songs, with 20 as singles.

There was an interview this week where Nicky said this might be the last tour, you never know what the future holds, type of thing. Did anyone else watch this? What were your thoughts? As this is a pretty big world tour, with more dates being added. It almost feels pretty final. Why not wait until 30 years?

Why was Michael so shocked at Helene's age? Not specifically about the 9 birthdays, but she clearly looked older than him.

How funny would that be, if they read our comments?
