I really hope this doesn’t come across negatively or bemoaning of the community, but I feel as a whole this sub is generally rather negative. Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way? Maybe I’m misunderstanding passion for the army as negative sentiment
I have been a fan of Tau since their original release and after selling my previous old models, started collecting again in 10th edition.
While I’m not overly active on the sub, compared to others I am active in, most of the discussion posts here I see are quite negative. Not just about how tau are viewed by other but also how they play in the current edition and for the upcoming 11th edition rules.
As soon as Warcom started putting articles out about the new edition negative posts were popping up about how we would suck and it’s terrible for shooting armies, which I do not agree with, I actually feel with the wide access to ignores cover and guiding giving +1BS we are in a really good place.
Same with the faction packs, detachment’s and force dispositions.
I get they may not match up to how we expect, but it’s disheartening to see and probably more so for new tau players dropping in to see this.
Not much we can do apart from make the most of the rules given to us, other than play something else right?
I know they aren’t great for 40K right now, but they are soo freaking cool and loved painting him up
