Blocked in the main color and started doing some quick edge highlights

Played our first zone mortalis match down at Wulfpack Games in Griffin, GA. It was a 3 way match. A contingent of Imperial Guard along with a detachment of Loyal Sons of Horus, were executing a holding action against the Word Bearers.

An elite Alpha Legion strike force was diapatched to execute Legion Objectives. While the Legion suffered heavy losses, we were able to wound an Imperial Guard Officer, as well as eliminate a Sons of Horus Centurion. As well as multiple Word Bearer legionaries, officers, and even a chaplain.

The only remaining member of Seeker squad Epsilon NineTwo, Chadpharius Dadbodmegon, was able to survive the entire mission and return with valuable intel. He's received multiple commendations as well as a field promotion. He survived multiple volleys bolter fire, heavy flamers, and was able to go toe to toe with a Dreadnought in ranged and close combat

Played my first game of Horus Heresy and actually won. Usually I roll like trash but the dice came through today. Getting closer to what my scheme will be.

I had started my HH army last year and got side tracked into Midhammer. I had probably 1000 points of troops already painted and based. So I see alot of repainting and rebasing in my future.

Told myself Id settle on a uniform scheme and paint style for this next batch of beakies, but it looks like this will be another mixed bag. I'll probably settle on a final scheme when Im done with the last model of the box, lol

Getting a little closer to something I'm happy with. Added dark blue and royal purple to the scheme. I put a squaf of beakies together after I knockrd this out, just need to clean them up and prime them. Going to try and translate this into an assembly line and see how fast I can get 10 guys done.

Painting up an Angels of Death/Alpha Legion Kill team and did my first Red Corsair/Alpha Legion model.

Printed out toppers for my Vanguard Vet Squad and now I'm going to rebase my whole army. Thankfully I only have 1000pts or so of Death Company to redo

Painting up my BA for 11th as well as some midhammer down at my local store. We're wrapping up a run of 3rd edition games. and will be kicking off some 5th edition in a month or so.

Had the chance to run my army at a recent 8 person/18,000 point 3rd Edition apocalypse game. It was Imperials vs Chaos vs Xenos.

We only made it through 2 rounds but all had a ton of fun.

Besides spending to much time on painting my troops, I also like having multiple sets of terrain as side projects to spend too much time painting. It starts with painting one detail, then spirals out of control. Anyone else have thr same issue?
