Transferring a SERPS pot to an International SIPP (Spanish tax resident)
Hey all,
I have my contracted out of SERPs pot maturing next year when I'm 55 and I have to do something with it as Reassure won't let me do anything as I'm not a UK resident. Taking a lump sum will put me in a butt clenching tax bracket in Spain so I am looking into putting it into an International SIPP which accepts non-UK residents and taking it out over 4 or 5 years to stay under the threshold for IRPF autónomo fees. Has anyone done this? Is it a good idea? Can you recommend any SIPPs? TIA!
