Confused in Book 1

I should start off with saying I'm listening to the audiobook because I'm dyslexic. This is the 3rd time I've tried to pickup this book and I'm enjoying it more than the last time, but I'm still confused AF. I just figured out that Chun Key is the same as Chunky and Faram is actually just Farm. Wtf? This is exactly why I read audio books, because my broken brain doesn't read words right, like every time I try to read the word refrigerator it comes out RefRegerAtor. I'm so confused. I just want to enjoy this book. No spoilers please I already got enough just trying to confirm this. What else am I missing? Is there like a chart of understanding?

Okay so at a certain point I just have to call this Bugged. Steela is the proud owner of 8 Crop tending boosters and a Balloon for a +48 Agriculture, giving her a +158% change of producing a seed. Yet she has been at this for 20 cycles and still has not produced a single seed.

there are no pacu. they're not being swept or taken anywhere. she's the only one allowed near this room.

Are rad pills radioactive?

So I feed radioactive bees to Saturn critter traps and get plant meat which I feed to hatches for coal which is made into rad pills. Irony anyone?
