looking for writers and artists for a Fallout fan project

Hi there! I'm the head admin/owner of Fallout: St. Dallas, a text-based RP project set in the Fallout universe, in the state of Texas. We're looking for artists who can draw portraits, scenery, and emblems, alongside writers capable of writing factions (such as raider gangs, tribes, cults, governments, etc.), economies, cities/towns, and characters. Having deep knowledge of either classic Fallout lore or Texan/Louisianian history would be a bonus.

Shortly about our setting:
The main inspiration comes from the classic Fallout games (FO1, FO2, Tactics, mods like Sonora and Nevada) and New Vegas. It's set in 2289, 8 years after the events of New Vegas.

The location is based around the entirety of Texas and Louisiana, alongside parts of northern Mexico and Oklahoma. The region is divided between 4 factions:

C.S.A. - an agrarian government that is a union of 4 city-states: St. Dallas, the capital of the state, which pushes for racial policies against non-human species, such as ghouls and super mutants; New Austin, the cultural center of the state with a sprawling music and subculture scene, which stands as an ideological opposition to Dallas; San Antonio, an industrial city with a rich post-war religious background and ties to the Church; and Texarkana, a city founded by the descendants of the Muslim population of a Vault, whose culture developed around the limitations of Vault life.

Texas Rangers - a paramilitary group consisting of descendants of government services (certain army branches, police, medical workers, etc.) who want to preserve order in the wastes while maintaining their monopoly on violence. They are in an unstable alliance with the C.S.A, mostly driven by their shared hatred of the cartels. Despite their alliance, the Rangers do not share confederates' beliefs and are tolerant of ghouls and super mutants, accepting them into their ranks. This creates political tension between the two.

Mexican Cartels - a coalition of 3 different groups: Nuestro Pueblo, a nationalist group that opposed the Mexican government both before and after the war; The Red Eagles, a military junta led by Mexican Maoists. Influenced by Chinese agents before the Great War, they spread revolutionary propaganda among Native American tribes and encouraged uprisings against American forces. In the post-war era, they continue to use promises of liberation and socialism to draw tribes into their cause and resist neighboring governments; and Los Armados, a splinter cartel that emerged from deserters of the post-war Mexican government (Nuevo Mexico), operating with strict military discipline.

Texan BoS Chapter - a secretive organization with an extensive spy network embedded in mid-level technical positions within most of the factions, covertly monitoring research, sabotaging high-tech projects and securing strategic facilities. Its interests are based around protecting its technological monopoly and preventing dangerous pre-war technology from falling into unvetted hands.

Art provided above is drawn by our lead artist, Delta, illustrating different new concepts of ours ^^

garland locals' consultation needed!!

Hi, I'm working on a fan project set in the Fallout universe, covering the entirety of Texas. I'm currently working on potential settlements that could arise in the post-war area of Garland. My question is: in your opinion, what surviving districts/neighborhoods could attract local survivors, either because of an abundance of a certain resource, such as water or food, or because they have such a strong identity that they ABSOLUTELY need to be included as a settlement?

Thanks! ^^

Unbranded brand sizing

I know this is a dumb question, but I’m a bit confused about Unbranded Brand’s jean sizing. I was thinking of buying a pair of UB701s. However, when I looked at the size chart, I noticed that the tagged size 28 actually has a 31-inch waist measurement. At first, I thought maybe the jeans were unsanforized and would shrink down to my actual waist size, but as far as I know, they’re sanforized. Does Unbranded just not offer smaller sizes for the wide fit?
