Created a character myself and after some random running around after not finding a water chip in vault 15 (I don’t know what to do after that I noticed that I can lvl past 100% in stats. What does it do? Planning on doing a new play through and LARP as a gunslinger. Any advice on starting build for that? This whole game seems fun but it’s completely throwing me into the cold water I have no clue what to do.

Title basically says it all. My dad was a big fallout fan, and I also am because I'd watch him play. Anyways I got to keep his game discs when he passed and never really messed with them until today. I have a disc drive, but I'm not sure if it's the right kind? I can burn CDs with it and watch movies, however the game disc isn't booting the auto install. I don't really know what to do in this situation because the disc drive isn't even showing up in my files or registering as being plugged in. any help is appreciated, tyia

edit: There's also another disc with the actual game disc, it's a memorex cd-r disc

It's like Hanukin's flashbacks, and I know his flashbacks didn't matter in Fallout 2, but it might be a different case here.

That's pretty much the main complaint people have with Fallout 2 if they like Fallout 1 more than Fallout 2, but I don't agree. I'm biased, because Fallout 2 is my favorite Fallout, but I truly think that although there are a little too many references, Fallout 1 does have some too that people ignore, and a lot of references are in random encounters. Do you agree?

Im playing fallout 2 as my first classic fallout, and started as narg, but I couldnt fine any small weapon or a good melee weapon, what do it do? I have a crowbar and a spiked knuckle, But trying to relay on speech currently trying to find the parts of the radio for Vic, any advise to go on from here?

My app fo2.exe, for emulating Fallout 1 and 2 on Android (and PSP), has received a DMCA notice from a copyright enforcement company/subcontractor called Tracer acting on behalf of Bethesda/ZeniMax Media, Inc.

No game files. No ROMs. No textures. No music. No ripped assets. Nothing like that.

It's an emulator.

I can appeal the DMCA, but that could potentially lead to a legal fight. And honestly... I could literally die tomorrow. So what the fuck am I supposed to be afraid of?

So we all enjoy modding Fallout games, right? Say you had access to a Holodeck like on the USS Enterprise, How quickly would you load up FO4, or any Fallout really and play it like you were actually living it? Think of the things you could do.

like if it was a real water canteen how many oz would it hold, because id die if i was out in the desert with a 8 oz liquor flask as my source of water and water transport

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am curious if there is any way to play Fallout 2 in windowed fullscreen. I own the game on Steam and everything, but every time I tab out, it becomes a small window in the bottom-left corner of my monitor that only displays its window bar with the minimize, fullscreen, and exit buttons.

I've tried messing around with SRWE, but I haven't been able to figure out how to achieve what I want, or maybe it's just not suitable for this. I would appreciate any help!

P.S. I am running the Restoration Project. I've heard there is a newer one called Restoration Project Updated on Github, but I don't know if it's the same as the one from the NMA forum, which is the one I have. Just clarifying in case there's any confusion

I can't get past the character creation menu because as soon as i press shift to capitalize my name, the game immediately freezes all input. I can't even move my cursor. The music is still playing, the light prompting me to type is still blinking, but everything else is broken. How do i fix this?
