If I cup my ear with another person’s ear, whose blood flow will I hear?

when you plug your ears the “sea” noise you hear is just your own blood flowing. so if I put my ear next to someone else’s ear such that they’re completely cupping each other, whose blood am I hearing? mine, or the other person’s?

Shoujo rom manga w well-developed female main characters

looking for romance manga with a female protag who doesn’t exist just to be a self-insert for the reader, but is truly her own well developed character. someone who is lovable and MEMORABLE, like Mitsumi from Skip and loafer, or Haruhi from OHSHC, or even Akane from ranma 1/2.

preferably, not someone who is shy and quiet.

does anyone have any recs?

Ecology/ wildlife magazines for non-professional adult enthusiasts?

Not sure if this is the right subreddit, so pls lmk if it’s not and I’ll remove this post.

I do not work in the field of ecology nor do I really plan on (aside from like volunteering) but I Iove animals and nature. I used to read those National Geographic kids magazines when I was younger and they mostly had nature and animal facts, but i checked their website and it seems they don’t have a magazine subscription for adults that’s focused specifically on those things. most other magazines Im finding online likewise seem targeted to kids.

are there any magazine subscriptions out there about wildlife/ ecology that aren’t for kids or researchers, but for interested adults?

Question about switching majors

I‘m an incoming freshman who got into UGA undecided in the Arts & Sciences college and I think I wanna do one of the art majors. Can I switch my major to one of those since I got in saying I wanted to receive a BFA? Or do I have to wait until next year to switch by submitting a portfolio?

Need advice for dying Doppio sweater

creating a cosplay from scratch for the first time and I need some help. I need to dye a chocolate brown sweater (not completely wool, I’m guessing it has synthetic fibers as well but not 100% sure bc it’s thrifted with no tag) purple and I’ll also be cutting it up and sewing it in places. so my questions are:

  1. should I cut and sew first then dye? or dye first then cut and sew?

  2. how do I dye this? do I bleach it first and then dye it purple, or just dye it purple? and does anyone have a good process for that?
