Where was this photo used as an artwork for Track 24 by Nine Inch nails taken?

It was used as an artwork for Track 24 on the Ghosts III album by Nine Inch Nails. Rob Sheridan and photographer Phillip Graybill are credited. It's from 2008. I am trying to figure out if this photo was taken at a specific location and if someone can figure out where it is?

I have been trying to figure it out for a couple of years, to no avail however.

Does anyone have any ideas?

A book where an alien is visiting the Earth disguised as a human?

To be honest I do not remeber much other than what I noted in the title.

The author is most likely american and is contemporary. It was writted most likely in late 90s or early 2000s. I believe that that the author's oeuvre is based on thrilller and supernatural elements.

in this specific book there is an alien disguised as a human and I believe that the main human character was a young female working a corporate job or similar.

ULPT request: sounds that would travel smoothly to my upstairs neighbour?

I know this is a common one but I'd appreciate any suggestions besides the obvious 'speakers on a ceiling' one. Something that would throw them off and even have them wonder where the noise is coming from.

I live in an apartment building and I have a very ignorant couple that vacuums their floors on 7:30AM on the weekends and probably move their furniture around as early as 6AM.
