I made a previous post about my AP5 not being able to feed flat nose rounds. I’ve tested a bunch of stuff out and have come to a conclusion. The cause behind the ftfs was entirely magazine presentation. When regular mags are inserted into my gun. They wobble quite a bit, but also move up and down inside the magwell, which is the issue. If I push a mag all the way up it’ll feed fine, but if I pull it down, the round hangs up. The mag can move up and down about 1-2 MM. Putting tape on the front of a mag will stop this from happening, but I’m looking for a better solution. Possibly replacing the mag catch? I included a video of the mag catch showing the movement.

Just shot my AP5 suppressed (CAT MOB) for the first time. Was shooting 124gr round nose ammo, Federal American Eagle 147gr and Federal Syntech 150gr. Had no issues with the 124, but when I started shooting the subs almost every other round wouldn’t feed. When I opened the bolt I noticed the rounds were getting major setback in the casing. After the first 50 rounds or so it started to get better, but it would still hang up on the last round of the mag. I tried it with 6 different mags (MKE and Mora) and was able to replicate it every time. I’m assuming my AP5 just doesn’t like flat nose ammo, but is there anything I can do about this, or any good subsonic ammo that isn’t flat nosed?

Sent my slide to Wager for optic cut and I guess a USPS employee opened the box and stole it. I insured the package, hopefully USPS accepts the claim. Still super aggravating because now I have to buy a new slide and my serial numbers won’t match (whatever). This happen to anyone else?

Was out for about 3 hours today and caught 10 or 11 bass. Nothing over 1.5 lbs but was a good day nonetheless. All caught on green pumpkin senko.
