Hi all, hoping this is an appropriate place to inquire about this and if not I apologize/hope I could be directed to the proper sub!

I am looking to possibly get my nipples pierced sometime later this year. One thing I have (infamously) read online is people making comments about “the taste” and “licking keys” which you can infer from there. Other things I have read is that it only occurs if you are wearing low quality jewelry.

I wanted to verify the truth in the statements above and if there’s any concern? I am aware that no contact is to be made until fully healed (at least 6-12 months) and the piercer I usually see uses implant grade titanium. Just trying to do some research and be mindful before fully committing.

I’ve gone to Bristol multiple times but will not be able to make it this year. I’ve recently developed a liking for chainmail and the past two years picked up a piece at Ravensburg Chain Maille, near Shakespeare’s Meadow.

It may be a long shot but does anyone happen to know if the vendor has an online shop/Etsy page, or if you’ve recently gotten something from there and got a business card that may have that info? I’ve tried to search myself and yielded no results. Figured it doesn’t hurt to ask this community before giving up and waiting until I go next year in person.

I preordered the corn dog shirt (I know per the website it’s not shipping until on or around 7/24).

For the folks who have ordered/received anything recently from the newest drops: have you been getting shipping notifications and/or emails?

The past two times I ordered from the site when it transitioned to Kings Road Merch, I never received any notification and I just suddenly received a package at my doorstep. Grateful that it came through but I like having notice so in case I’m not home at the time of delivery I can have someone else at home grab it/bring it in, etc lol. I do check my email daily and also have the Shop app. Just hoping that maybe their notification system got better.

Hi all

I have a remote controlled lamp that I received second-hand and cannot get it paired, so I’m trying to find a subreddit to ask for assistance. I don’t know if r/fixit would be correct (appears to be more general fixes, etc), r/troubleshooting is more technical/computers and r/lamps are just lamps.. any guidance is appreciated!

(I’ve tried troubleshooting on my own following the vague instructions I’ve got to work with, done some googling, and even reached out to the manufacturer but they won’t help me much without an order # which I respect that.)
