Avoiding VF

hiya,

I live in AZ (not a native) but I've been here for a couple years now. But my anxiety has gotten worse since having a kid and my health anxiety is at an all time high lol

Those in AZ have noticed the overnight haboobs lately, and I was just curious what to do to avoid VF. If I wanted to go outside, should I wear an n95 or something if I really had to? Am I ok with short walks outside like from the parking lot to a building and so on?

Just curious to avoid getting it 🥺 these 500 aqi freak me out when I see it and I don't want to leave the house and turn on our air purifiers on high lol.

Thanks everyone, stay healthy 🙏🏻

I gotta get out of AZ lol

Looking to get out of AZ. Grew up in IL most of my whole life (few years in FL). Husband and I are from same town. He was out here first, followed him in 2019. We have a little one and 4 cats.

I'm just sick of this place. I love my job (RN) and he has a great medical/tech job too. But we just can't take the heat, no seasons. Being cooped up in the house with a kid 7mo out of the year is unbearable. Even tried to go to the aquarium with my mom the other week and that was the colder week! And it was just not fun. Everywhere you go the AC is barely working lol.

I'm so used to the small town life. Living in the city I think is just not for us. We do love the city and what it has to offer (I miss Chicago SO much), but living so close to it is just like god get me OUTTTT. The traffic , the noise, the pollution. And then other times I'm like we have it so good, it's just the environment is what makes it so hard!

I'm open to small towns, I need grass/trees/hiking trails. I loved my family's summers in OH. My husband has been looking at Colorado just bc of his work background. I can go anywhere with my job.

Help please 😂😭

Trader Joes Mini Ravioli

Guys the trader joes mini ravioli, my 9mo goes feral for with homemade Alfredo sauce on top.

I added some chicken later as it was still cooking and he decided he couldn't wait lmaooo

I also cut it up way more than this. They're the perfect bite size when you cut them in 4s

He was digging in his bib for droppings 😂 and no most of it is not on the floor, I fed half and he can pick up this ravioli really easily. Mommy loves it also for that reason HAHA

Cst.in blinking and turns off

I required this Sylvania dvd/VCR combo from my aunt and it was working fine up until the other week. I put the tape in, it runs, then it stops and blinks cst.in and turns off. When I turn it back on it ejects the tape and goes back to normal.

I know before this I did accidentally leave a tape in and turn it off. I thought maybe that was the problem from my fault. I unplugged it, didn't help.

Any thoughts? Thanks 🙏🏻

Litter box help

I'm looking for some advice or help on what to do with our litter boxes.

I got these enclosures about 2ish years ago I think, and I loved them! But I should've lined the bottom and gotten litter boxes the size of the enclosure so they don't move 🫠 I have 2 stainless steel boxes in the enclosures and then we have the large one here because we were afraid our fluffier cat wasn't going to use the enclosures since he's bigger (he uses them now).

I need to get more mats (I thought that grey one out there was larger than I measured when I bought it 🤦🏻‍♀️) but we currently have these in our loft. We live in Arizona and as those of you who live here know that closet space is limited lol (why are there like no hall closets or anything in these houses??) nor basements. We used to have it in our laundry room but I was sick of stepping in litter and now that we have a baby (who is now crawling) I try to keep the floors as tidy as possible. The laundry room has a closet and an under portion (like harry potter type) so I could clean it out, but all of our luggage and vacuum/mop/carpet cleaners are back there. So I'd prefer to keep it in the loft. But I'm open to ideas.

I'm wondering if getting another enclosure is the smart move or not and just lining the inside so that if there was spillage, it would be waterproof. Or am I wasting my time?
