Manual or Automatic?

Hey everyone! I'm at a bit of a loss here and I'd love if I could get a bit of advice.

I finished my tenth lesson in a manual car yesterday and my driving instructor told me that while I'm able to drive my clutch etc isn't up to snuff... Unfortunately he's not wrong. I don't have anyone or a car to practice in which is absolutely the root of my issue.

I have two options: keep going manual and take as many lessons as I need (potentially a lot, and my instructor seems to be getting fed up with me) or bite the bullet and go on with an automatic license.

Other people who had a similar affair: how did it work out for you? Did you get an automatic license and then go back to get a manual? Was it a hassle? Do you find an automatic license causes problems for you?

Thank you in advance!
