When and why did you decide to up your dose?

What was the criteria for feeling like it’s working or not working? Why did you increase or why not?

I started with 150 in January and I am now on 300. I feel fine. Sometimes I feel like I could do with another push. When do you accept the dose and when do you try a higher dose?

East village jobs

I live in the East Village, it’s my favorite place in the city, and I am looking for work that is close to home after years of commuting. Something flexible, sociable, not corporate. A bookstore, a restaurant, a small store, you get the idea. What’s the best way to go about this, in your experience? Did you apply online or ask in person? I’ve checked the usual online job postings but it’s pretty bleak.

Happy to share more about my experience and skills if you have an opening!

Studio is as hot as a sauna

The weather is getting warmer and the studios are boiling hot and smell like sweat and socks. In my local Manhattan studio, there are 19 reformers stuck together in a very small room with barely any air conditioning. I had to stop my workout multiple times tonight because beads of sweat were going into my eyeballs. The mirrors were getting steamed up. Not only is it hard to breathe, but it’s also extremely unsanitary. Sometimes I can’t believe I pay $300 for these conditions (and not even towels and water to help). Not sure how we’ll get through this summer!!!

(Before anyone asks, I have raised this to multiple Solidcore workers at this studio since last year and nothing has changed)
