Anyone know what the broadcast tower at the KII news station in Corpus does?

Hello, I’m doing some research for a book and I have two questions. Does anyone know the function of the broadcast tower at the news station in town? Specifically what it does and what it can do? Can it transmit FM radio waves at all?

How long has that broadcast tower been there, when was it erected?

I’ve got three shirts like this from the same load. This keeps happening randomly (not always, not the same person’s clothes). What is causing these spots? This is after washing/drying

I’m not sure if I should take in our foster daughter’s sibling

I need guidance because I feel absolutely awful for having these feelings that I’ve been having. I have to keep it somewhat vague as this situation is so specific.

My FD is 4, her sibling is 12. We’ve had our FD for two years now, moving towards adoption. We’ve been hosting sibling visits for about two months now and the vibe is not there for me. There’s a disconnect and I hate it. I know it’s going to take time but this doesn’t feel the same. When I first met my FD we instantly clicked and I instantly fell in love with her.

What breaks my heart is I can’t seem to see my FD’s sibling. When they’re here I just see my FD, i have to force myself to talk to her sibling. I count the minutes until the sibling is gone. What makes this worse is my FD loves having her sibling over but at the detriment to our relationship. She’s normally very behaved when it’s just us but when her sibling is here she’s openly defiant, she screams, hits, and just frankly a nightmare. I don’t know why she’s acting like this.

We’ve already said yes to taking her sibling (hasn’t been moved yet) but I’ll be honest we said yes because there was pressure and because we thought long term wise it would be beneficial for our FD but now I’m second guessing everything. Any guidance would be appreciated, pleas be kind, I’m just trying to be honest with how I feel because this decision is forever and I can’t make it lightly.

Should I call and verify a pickup despite them not texting back?

So we’ve been hosting sibling visits at our house for quite a few weekends (almost every weekend for a couple of months now). I text the group (other foster moms) and typically will invite them 1-2 days before we pick them up. They are both in their 50-60’s. One lady always texts back within the hour and the other one either doesn’t say anything or says something vague like “let me check” but than doesn’t text again after that.

I will then call her the day of and she answers and always kind of waves off my question if she got my text. Sometimes she says she was sick or that she forgot to answer or didn’t see it. None of these excuses are great because it happens literally every week and we are BUSY. I’m tired of “chasing” her for an answer and it’s really irritating. After giving me some excuse she’ll say “oh but yes they want to come over”. We do all the driving, we pickup and drop off so this is probably even more irritating to me because we are doing all the work, I shouldn’t also have to call to follow up.

This week I’m greeted with crickets again. I sent a follow up text this morning in the group chat and nothing. Would it be wrong of me to not call? These drives are not short either, 35 minutes each way.

Looking for recommendations for good mobile mechanics or mechanic shops

I need some maintenance work and a minor repair to my car. I think there might be a hose that needs replaced for the coolant and Freon needs to be added. I also just want someone to give it a look over for anything else it might need.

I obviously don’t want to get ripped off so does anyone know a good mobile mechanic or shop that will be honest about the work and be reasonable with prices?
