New marimo

New marimo from mossballpets.com. Without me actually forgetting to post pictures this time.

Found inside moss ball. Probably too small to ID but could this be part of a zebra muscle?

How do I clean driftwood from the beach for freshwater tank? I think it is mangrove wood.

As caption says. Is there a way to clean it so it doesn’t change the salinity of my tank or anything else?

Edit: The horseshoe crab is just a molt. I set it out to dry after washing, and will not be putting it in the tank.

Theres a ton of molts at the beach right now since it is breeding season for them. They naturally shed their exoskeletons as they grow.
The crab itself is probably still living its best life at the beach :)

Update: I will be boiling the wood eventually
