It’s been 23 days since I found out I could turn my pickles into rubies.

I got him out of a tiny little cup at the nursery checkout, repotted him in (I think) peat moss and nothing else, leave him outside in a self watering pot (holds water) and just let the rain refill him. He hasn’t dried out yet but I do have a container of rainwater if he does. If the pot gets too full of water I dump a little out, but otherwise I just leave him alone and I mean…he’s not dead? Could I be doing anything better? Pictures start from today and go backwards.
