Just received this haul and overall I’m really happy with how everything turned out. The Nike set and ON set are probably two of my favorite pieces from the haul, and the Peaceinwar and ERD hoodies have a really nice oversized streetwear fit. The Adidas jacket is also a solid everyday layer and feels easy to style. For the summer pieces, the Nike tee, CH tee, Arte tee, ERD tee, Supreme tee, RL tee, Margiela tee, ALD tee, and Casablanca tee all give me plenty of options for different outfits. The CH shorts, Nike shorts, Garms Affiliated shorts, and Protect shorts are also really easy to rotate. The Acne Studios sweatshirt and Rick Owens piece add some heavier statement pieces to the collection, while the RL socks and ALD hat are nice accessories to finish outfits. Overall, this haul has a really good mix of basics, designer-inspired pieces, and statement streetwear, and I’m definitely going to be getting a lot of wear out of it.

been traveling more and noticing a pattern with these scan-to-menu setups. a lot of places auto-translate dishes and slap green allergen icons on the screen. looks reassuring.
but that icon just means the menu database says its safe. it tells you nothing about whether the kitchen checked cross-contact. saw a hotel QR setup from MenuForma recently that did exactly this. useful for reading the menu in your own language? sure. substitute for telling the line cook you have anaphylaxis? no.
even if the translation is accurate, a sauce gets swapped and the menu says one thing while the prep staff do another.
how do you actually verify cross-contamination protocols when the front of house just points at the tablet?
