Poll: Favourite Episode from Season 2?

The poll can only have up to 6 options so I’ve combined Episodes 6 and 7 into one option.

My personal favourite was Episode 2: A Fight, Once Begun. I thought they did a great job combining Book 2’s The Blind Bandit, Zuko Alone and The Chase!

Which co-host do you feel is the most underrated or under-appreciated?

Of the current panel (Alyssa, Ana, Joy, Sara, Sunny and Whoopi), who do you feel doesn’t get as much love as they deserve?

I’ll say Alyssa only because she’s the most recent addition 😊.

Do you know any conservatives that regularly watch the show?

The View has a tendency to be a left-wing talk show as all the hosts frequently criticise the current administration. I’m curious though, do you or anyone you know who is a Republican or conservative when it comes to politics, watch the show regularly?

Thoughts on rebuttal documentaries?

EDIT: ”Documentaries” was probably not the right word, perhaps “videos” instead.

After Martin Bashir’s Living with Michael Jackson, there was the response program The Michael Jackson Interview: The Footage You Were Never Meant To See.

After Leaving Neverland, there was Neverland Firsthand: Investigating the Michael Jackson Documentary, Michael Jackson: Chase the Truth and Square One: Michael Jackson.

For those who have watched some or all of these, do you feel there is nothing of substance in any of them or are there some things in these rebuttal documentaries that is of substance?

Theory on the recent biopic

Most people might be aware that for the recent Michael biopic, the narrative is that the filmmakers did film scenes that related to the 1993 allegations but had to cut them out as there was a clause in the case settlement agreement which stated that Jordan Chandler could not be depicted in any way. They apparently were not aware of this clause until very late in production.

A theory I have heard some Reddit commenters put forward is that the production team were fully aware from the start that they would not be allowed to use these scenes in the final product. However, they filmed these scenes anyway so that when they had to be cut, they could use the excuse that they really did try to make the movie more balanced instead of the mostly positive view of Michael in the final cut. These commenters suggest that: surely the legal teams involved in the film production and the Jackson estate would have known about the clause before filming began?

The theory does sound plausible. Personally, I’m not quite sure if I believe it, but what are your thoughts?
