I played a concert for an endangered goose

This is an endangered Nene goose of Hawaii. There were 4 more off screen, and this was after a 12 mile hike. There's only about 3000 left in the wild, so by percentage of total population, this would be like 20M humans

What's with the massive single-name moves lately?

Just today, this is outrageous:

AAPL + 2.1%

AMZN -4.1%

AVGO +5.7%

COST -1.1%

GOOG -2.2%

NVDA +6.0%

TSLA -5.0%

And that's not any of the chip stocks lik AMD, MU or whatever hot chip stocks people have.

Is it just me, or are these like "earnings-level" moves every day? And if so, why have implied vols not caught up? 1% a day is 16 vol. 4% is ... 80 vol. and none of these guys are even in the 40s.

The top of the market is today ...

because I bought an NDX 36500C Nov '26 call to hedge this crazy ass market.

my performance is benchmarked to the NDX, and it's so impossible to keep up. So, I bought an upside call to limit how much I have to chase it.

So, you're welcome, folks. because I bought, the market will obviously stop rocketing today.
