How to stick with a diet---any tips for losing weight?
Hi, I (28m) am struggling with losing some weight I gained. Ideally, I'd go on Ozempic or something similar but my insurance has been denying this (still going to try to get it though, just might be a long time). So I am wondering what tips people here have for dieting without medications---if ozempic is not possible.
My specific failure modes are that
- I like meat, which is highly caloric (looking for alternatives)
- I am on a medication (beta blockers, high blood pressure) that has mild weight gain as a side effect and has been reported to make it harder to lose weight but idk
- I do not have a lot of time and sometimes just order in food even though I know it's not healthy
- I think I stress-eat
- I tend to eat a lot/order unhealthy food at night
