This tile job at an apartment we rented in Spain that could have killed someone

This was our kids' bathroom. Thank goodness they weren't on the toilet at the time.

Were these tiles installed incorrectly based on what you're seeing? Can someone with knowledge critique this hack job?

"There was an error accepting the invitation" - Books Behind Award‑Winning Movies Bookshelf from Xfinity Rewards

https://customer.xfinity.com/rewards -> https://www.amazon.com/ab/shelf/a491c282-203f-47dc-9630-3c2d45b11762/applyCode throws "There was an error accepting the invitation" when trying to apply a code for me and my dad. Please fix it.

This happened in the past to other rewards giveaways, like here https://www.reddit.com/r/Comcast_Xfinity/comments/1dieuwx/issue_with_redeeming_the_10_summer_of_movies/, and Comcast had to fix this on their end.

My recordings of Flipturn live at Bottlerock Napa 2026 (August, Space Cowboy, Playground, Whales, Juno) - holy shit, this band absolutely blew me away

Every Bottlerock, I am blown away by several bands I've never followed before, and this year Flipturn was one of them. Chills multiple times during their show. Now they have a new fan!

This is a playlist, not sure if it will look right on various Reddit clients, but here's the link again: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLHuCQrQ-a46DxdmRe18t6Oj-RbTooqKR.

All videos shot on Pixel 10 Pro XL.

For the past several weeks, I've observed this annoying behavior in Google Chrome: a new tab page would freeze and prevent me from typing for several seconds.

At first I thought it was the number of tabs that I have open (a couple of dozen), but closing them did not fix the problem.

Today, I decided to watch what happens closely and caught a connection between the "Continue with these tabs" widget loading and the unfreezing. As soon as the widget shows up, the URL bar and the UI unfreeze.

As soon as I disabled the widget (https://i.imgur.com/xYbQEoQ.png), the new tab freeze has immediately disappeared.

This widget needs to stop blocking the UI thread.

I filed the bug here https://issues.chromium.org/issues/508682206.

Do you have this problem?

Has Linode released an updated patched kernel for this vulnerability? What about its own host systems, are they patched? Word on the screet is container escape is possible with this vulnerability too.
