Repairable?

Repairable?

I’m curious if it’s possible to somehow repair the single broken strand on this cobra knot bracelet. I would rather not scrap or rebuild the entire thing as it’s incredibly sentimental, but hoping there is a way to somewhat salvage this, if at all.

Difficulty with a TD

Hi, this is not the biggest purchase I've made, but wanted to start some buying with Pink. I'm curious if others have experienced similar delays, non-responsive or deferring messages from this dealer.

A quick timeline:

\* 86 days since payment, nothing delivered

\* 66 days "stuck at LAX" on a tracking number that never updated

\* 20 days just to produce a label

\* 3+ refund requests, all deflected

Every reply from them takes 3-4 days over WeChat, and I'm getting one word answers "checking", "hi", etc.

Pink was blazingly fast to accept payment for the item I wanted, but after that, the communication significantly dropped off. I don't want to drag this dealer as I've heard positive impressions from the community, but mainly wanted to check in and hear if this is still the sentiment around her (him?). I wrote up a whole visual timeline on this, but wanted to slow roll this feedback since I'm really trying to approach this with good faith first.

First QC — Datejust 36, blue dial, fluted, Jubilee

Dealer name: Ethan

Factory name: VSF

Model name (& version number): VSF V2 Datejust 36 — ref. 126234, blue dial, fluted bezel, Jubilee bracelet

Price Paid: ~$450

Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/dj-verif-0K6zwwb

Index alignment: Most of the dial looks clean. The indices at 11, 12, and 1 appear straight and sitting flush. My main concern is the 6 o'clock index — it looks like it's sitting slightly to the left of center. It's not dramatic, but it's noticeable when you put a vertical line through it.

Dial Printing: Text is crisp and the Swiss Made at 6 all look clean. Just going back to the slightly misaligned index as a concern with alignment against this text. No bleeding or misapplied letters that I can see.

Date Wheel alignment/printing: The "30" appears well centered in the window and the numbers are level with each other. Cyclops doesn't look tilted.

Hand Alignment: Hands appear fine, no concerns here.

Bezel: The fluting looks sharp and even all the way around. Appears to have no chips, uneven cuts, or misalignment with the case.

Solid End Links (SELs): All four corners look tight, no visible gaps to flag here.

Timegrapher numbers: +3s/d, amp 257°, beat 0.2ms. Geektime suggests these are good numbers.

Anything else you notice: Lume shot looks uniform across all indices and hands, no dead spots.

Overall leaning GL but genuinely unsure about the 6 index — that's my one flag. Would love a second opinion before I pull the trigger. Thank you!

First QC: Datejust 36, Blue Dial, Fluted, Jubilee

Photos

  • Reference: 126234 (DJ36, blue sunburst dial, no date ring, fluted white gold bezel)
  • Factory: VSF, v2 DJ version
  • Bracelet: Jubilee

Index Alignment 11 of 12 indices appear straight and properly seated in their slots. No rotation or drift relative to minute markers observed at any position. Am I imagining things (it has been a long day) or does the 6 indice have a slight rotation?

Date Wheel Alignment "30" sits centered in the window — not touching either border, and both digits appear level at the same height. Cyclops border looks even on all sides, no tilt.

Bezel Fluted bezel — no pip. Fluting is sharp and well-defined. No chips, uneven cuts, or alignment issues visible.

SELs All four corners (TL, TR, BL, BR) show only a black line — no light passing through. Gaps look tight.

Dial Printing ROLEX / OYSTER PERPETUAL / DATEJUST and SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER / OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED are sharp with no bleeding or misapplication. SWISS MADE at 6 appears straight and legible.

Extras: Timegrapher: +3s/d, amplitude 257°, BE 0.2ms. Weight: 121.43g. Lume even and consistent across all indices.

Overall: Leaning GL — everything looks solid to my mostly untrained eye… happy to be corrected. Thank you.
