Handling

Hello, so I recently handled my boa for maybe 8 min? I didn't really time it. But at the beginning "he" (not sexed yet) was pretty quick moving at the beginning but then he calmed down after a but.

My main question is, a one point he just stopped moving and he had his neck extended and he was doing slow to gue flicks every 20 seconds. I know when ball pythons periscope it means they're relaxed and all. Is this the case for boas too? He was moving much slower in my hands after and he was doing very long tongue flicks, so I'm assuming he just got more relaxed during the handling session!

What do you guys think?

2015 GS Mazda 3 Hatchback

Hello, I'm looking at a Manual mazda 3 hatchback GS trim that's 4,996$ (CAD). It has 204,001km on the odometer and Iwnas wondering if that's too high of km for this car? What are your experiences with higher mileage? Are there specific things I should look for aside from clutch wear and shocks? Maybe ball joints and control arms?

So far, this is the lowest price I've seen on the market, and I'm waiting on the car history report, so currently I'm unaware of what maintenance was done.

I put a link to the carguru add for those interested in seeing the pictures! There seems to also be some sort of paint damage maybe to the front bumper. Or it's just dirty lol

Wallmounted oven

Hello, I recently moved to a new place and there's this oven in the wall. The model or id info has faded away and isn't visible.

Additionally, any manual booklet has vanished into the void I guess (unfortunately).

Does anyone know the model type as well as how to use it? Specifically the timer section and what the three little white buttons on the bottom are! The button that's alone is for the light.

Thanks in advance :)

Pops from exhaust

Hello, I've been recently hearing little pops and crackles from my exhaust when in the upper rpms 3500k+ in 2nd and 3rd gear. I haven't done any ecu tune and the mods I have currently are a TurboXS catback exhaust and an AElM intake.

When I did swicth the exhaust I did have pops, but only one pop when off gas and changing gears. But now there's many small pops.

Is this normal? Are these typical symptoms of coils, plugs, and wires (they're due for a change but I'm just wating to finish moving before changing them)

What do you guys think?

Thanks for the help :)

Car meets

I've realized that no matter what car meet I go to, the photographer at the meet always refuses to take a picture of my car lmao. It could be right next to a car they're taking a picture of, and then they all walk away after 😭. Do they hate Rx-8s that much??

Also, I haven't added any body mods, maybe that's why, but at the same time, they take pictures of broken honda civics.

Anyways, I just needed to vent a tiny bit since I find it a bit sad ahaha.

Ok bye!

6 month old boa (Grim)

Thanks everyone who helped regarding the little situation with my 6 month boa. His name is Grim! In the end it was really just him being spooked. Here's a picture of him (I say him but I haven't actually gotten him officially sexed yet, I just did the test myself and am assuming)

The picture where he's in my hand is a couple months ago, not a recent picture!

6 month old boa

Hello, I have a 6 month old boa (I got him when he was 1month old). I did several handling sessions since he was born and usually he is very chill, never once hissed or snapped and he wasn't super crazy when handling either.

Today I tried to take him out to weigh, he was super defensive, hissing, and snapped but missed! I do tap training for those who will ask.

Anyways, is this normal for 6month old boas to suddenly become like this? When I picked him up he was still super snappy and he was moving very quickly and not settling down in anyway. I was trying to move slowly but considering how fast he was moving I didn't really have a choice to move faster to support him.

What can I do to help with the handling sessions? Is there soemthing I can do to help support him when he's moving at mach1 speeds?

Oh yeah, he usually eats on Friday, not sure if he may be in preparation for eating mode or something, but I figured I'd throw that out there for added context!

Thanks :)
