My first overnight oats!!

A couple weeks ago I made a post asking about overnight oats as there would be a planned power outage starting super early in the morning coming up. And that day is today!!

Overnight oats topped w/ apple, banana and flakes almonds, featured on my cats tower as that is the only place with suitable enough lighting.
3rd pic is the goop all mixed together (^ω^)

30g Oats
10g Chia seeds
50g frozen blueberries
125ml milk
100g Greek yoghurt
25ml SugarFree Maple Syrup

What type of oats for overnight oats?

Hi, the power will be out for me on one of my oatmeal breakfast days and I was thinking of prepping some overnight oats.

I was wondering which type of oats would work best (texture, absorbing liquid). I currently use instant oats and am worried they won’t produce the same results as the recipes online.

Thank you! 🙏

First time caker - Lemon Ricotta Cake!

This was my first time making a cake from scratch all by myself! Made it as an early Mother’s Day cake for my mother ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I followed this recipe, only making 1/3rd of what it originally called for, and didn’t add blueberries. Decorated with leftover ricotta mixed with honey & lemon zest and some baked lemon.

In my recent doctors and dietician appointments they’ve asked if I wanted to see my weight. Like?? NO I do not want to see my weight. I do not want to know how much I’ve gained because I know it will cause the current me to spiral.
I am already tempted to find the scale at home. To trigger myself with what ever number ends up appearing and then finding ways to restrict and lie.
It also feels as if they’re telling me “hey look the number is within the normal range for your age! Do you wanna see it”
