I just purchased this alocasia 3 days ago (first pic) it said it was a regal shield but it looks SO different compared to the regal shield I have had for a couple years now (second pic) the leaf texture & color is very different.. any info is much appreciated!! 🙂

Hey y’all this is my first string of bananas (?) I have owned this plant for almost a year now and it has probably grown almost 2 feet in that year… I have to water it once per week now as the soil gets SO DRY and the bananas start to shrivel. Is it time to repot this plant? If so please share any tips. This is one of my favorite plants and I want to keep it as healthy & happy as possible! Also any care tips would be greatly appreciated as well!!! Thank you!💚

How would you guys recommend me getting more leaves on this regal shield? She seems really happy in this corner but I’m open to any & all care tips!🙂
