Don’t sell WEN, let it ride higher, and turn off stock lending to deprive the trapped shorts from borrowing your shares to suppress the price. I want to know what hedge fund tears taste like.
The deck may be stacked against retail dumb money making a buck off of the Wendy’s short squeeze but worry not, all they have is smoke and mirrors. The good news is that the hedge funds are doubling down and continuing to short the stock even as the squeeze gains momentum. So, every day that we continue to buy and hold the stock is another day that they continue to pee their pants. That is why 💎 🙌 and hold the line are so important. This isn’t about getting a small gain and bailing, it’s about squeezing the hedge funds so that we can get a hefty gain after all their shorts fail, transferring their money into our accounts.
Also, make sure you turn off stock lending in your settings so that the funds have less shares to try to win this battle with.
While it doesn’t have the over 100% short interest that GME had, there is still squeezing to be had. I for one am willing to invest in holding Wendy’s until I see some hedge fund tears. My research tells me that if it breaks above $8.50 some dominoes will start to fall pushing it higher and higher. The key is to hold the line. Do not sell when it reaches $10. Maybe at $12? What do you think? I also want to look into making sure that RH can’t lend my WEN stocks to hedge funds. Apparently it’s something you can adjust in settings that is usually automatically turned on…AI research informed this post. Also please don’t attach me for frivolous reasons just for kicks in the comments. Deal with your hate other ways.
Is today’s fall a tactic to try to stop the short squeeze happening with WEN? I bought in this morning with a couple hundred and doubled down just now. I’m hoping for a retail trader win and willing to take a $100 loss is it doesn’t pan out. That’s my strategy. Are all the shirts still in place or are they unloading? I don’t know much about it, but I’m seeing the words short squeeze in the news…
I wanted to give a shout out to all to take great care with coin cell batteries and make sure that babies and toddlers cannot access them. When you find them during your coin searching efforts promptly throw them away! I wrap them in packing tape before disposing of them to make extra sure no child swallows one. For those that may not know they can kill a baby that innocently swallows one! Be safe y’all and stay cool while you clean the free moolah from the tray and floors!
Ive been licensed for almost ten years now. I got my General too. I got into talking on repeaters a fair bit, but Ive fallen out of practice. Rarely turn on the HT. I did try to get an old Kenwood HF rig up and running and put a fair amount of effort into it. I bought a dipole and installed it on top of a mixed use commercial building I was off officing out of. Sadly I never made a contact and was only able to listen some. I only got the dipole about ten feet above a steel structure, so I think that simply wasn’t enough space for the waves to be able propagate? Maybe SWR was an issue? Maybe the radio’s TX circuits were blown, maybe I blew them? I did have a buddy with similar experience level help me tune it with an old tuner, but never got around to trying various tests of whether I was getting any signal out. I left that office space and took everything down and haven’t deployed it again yet. I now have a Yaesu FT-857D. I’d like to set something up again one day and now I have a similar steel structure commercial space again, rather than my house surrounded by trees…Anyways, thought I’d share this to see what people’s thoughts might be. The issue I see is that I havnt been able to get my dipole high enough. Maybe I need to set it up as inverted V. Thanks for reading. I still have my HT handy, so maybe simply getting back on that and getting one for my wife might be fun, even if only for emergency use. The cell networks have gone down for my community in various locations several times since I’ve been licensed!
I’m trying to bring a Wi-Fi signal that I can access right outside of my warehouse into the interior of the building. I can access this widely known network because I am a subscriber to this company’s internet at my home. The warehouse is metal and seems to block the signal which is strong enough right outside. So, my question is what is the best solution? AndI want it to be a very cheap solution too. Maybe $100. I am thinking of I can buy an outdoor access point like the TP-Link Long Range Outdoor Access Point (EAP225-Outdoor) – AC1200 Dual Band. But I don’t really understand what this is. Is it a glorified Wi-Fi extender? I see it can run on PoE, but would the Ethernet carry the signal to a transmitter inside? A device that I imagined is something that was PoE, plugged in inside where the signal was broadcast from, then basically had an antenna that was mounted outside thereby bringing the signal inside. I don’t need anything powered outside, just the antenna to receive right? Why is this so complicated?
