The lion, the witch and the audacity of this...

Yes you have all probably seen this video, ik not all people are same but one thing I feel is just over the line "hamare tax se sabka salary ate hey...", what does she think of herself and the army personnel? Do they risk their lives just for money? It takes courage to be on one of the most volatile piece of land in the world... Somebody please send her to the Frontline or one of those most remote places with a ration of rice and potato, I will personally pay for her salary, let's see if this gen d still thinks salary matters most in army... This entitled *, they don't know how the real world works outside of IG...

Continuing from the last post: the wound worsen and had a secondary maggot infestation, had to go for the surgery on the urgent basis, before the surgery we had to put him in the kennel to take him to the vet and his tail fell off... The next day vet amputated the his tail, and after 14 days of medication and continuous dressing, I think it has healed. The old potato roams again.. We are planning to set him free really soon.

Urgent help needed for a stray cat.

We feed couple of stray cats, 4 days ago one of them (older, male) showed up with a wound, crawling with maggots, in his tail. We applied d-mag spray couple of times and gave him ivermectin once, dressing it with povidin iodine liquid, applying mupirocin ointment and giving him amoxicilin twice a day. The maggots are now gone but the wound is in horrible condition , the lower part is basically held by the bone only (around two inches from the base), I don't think it will ever heal if we don't amputate the lower half of the tail. I'm from Kolkata and do have a govt vet college nearby but in past had bad experience with them, they actually don't give a sheet about animals, so please share if you know any budget friendly private pet clinic where they can perform the surgery, also what can be the cost for the procedure?

TL;DR: Cat with tail wound, need amputation, looking for budget friendly pet clinic in Kolkata.
