In some North Indian social circles there’s a weird stereotype that if a guy doesn’t have a beard or moustache and keeps a clean-shaven look people randomly say he “looks gay.”
But.... how does that even make sense?
Facial hair has nothing to do with sexuality It depends on genetics, personal grooming choices, comfort, and style. Some people prefer a clean-shaven look, some like stubble, some like full beards it’s just personal preference and fashion.
The real issue is how quickly appearance gets linked to identity or sexuality without any logic. It feels unfair and outdated, and honestly just reduces people to stereotypes.
Not everyone can grow a full beard, and not everyone wants one. That doesn’t define anything about who they are
At the end of the day, people should be free to look however they want without being judged or labeled.
