A lot of people think only furniture size matters in small rooms, but wall colour + lighting plays a much bigger role.
In most compact apartments, using lighter shades like off-white, warm beige, or soft grey helps reflect more light and makes the space feel open. Pairing this with good natural lighting and minimal clutter can completely change the room’s perception.
Even small changes like adding mirrors or keeping furniture slightly elevated can improve the overall visual space.
