Does anybody know what’s up with this tree?

It’s always intrigued me. It’s so strangely cut at the top and is maybe hollow? I thought maybe it was a sculpture but I can’t find anything about it on western’s sculpture collection webpage.

I’ve noticed that every year during winter the city places these curb markers out in case of snow, and they never pick them back up.

The markers never stay put in the ground and usually blow away and end up being litter. I’m just kind of surprised that this is happening. Surely if they can drive around the city putting them in the ground they can drive around again to pick them back up?

Like I’m so grateful i’m not in pain. I am so overjoyed and happy and get so much done and am nice to everyone. Idk if it’s hormonal or just because I was miserable for an entire day 🤣
