The love I feel for this creature.

Spike has become such a big part of my life. From an impulse buy at 16 to my actual child. I cannot imagine my life without this little troublemaker. He happily falls asleep on me, never squirms when I pick him up but squirms when someone that isn't me tries to. I've grown used to his weight on my chest to the point that it feels almost wrong without him on me. We watch Tv together, go on walks together, read outside on the patio together, go on car rides and visit my coworkers at work together. He's not just my pet, he's my companion.

Thank you to everyone over the years who has helped me improve his care and diet to give him the best life possible. He's absolutely thriving and i'm so happy to see him happy.

Newly remodeled! What do y'all think?

Hi! I was tired of spike's substrate always falling out the front, so i went and got some concrete blocks from Lowe's (don't worry i soaked and baked them!) and new sand & dirt. I'm very happy with the results! I will be adding more climbing pieces in the future as well! They're just hard to find around where i live & are VERY expensive. I personally love the half slab/half loose substrate look. Drop your thoughts! :3

Today i rehomed my guinea pigs, Noah and Oreo.

Turns out, i'm allergic to the hay and all the dust and whatnot they kick up has been making my nose run for a long time. I had an air purifier, but it decided to die on me. After a lot of consideration i put up a post saying i'm rehoming, looking for a better home for them.

I'm a little sad to see them go, but happy they'll be in a better home. 💖

Hi! I’m rescuing an adult Leopard gecko soon, and before i do i was wondering if i could get some info? I’ve ofc done my research, but i was wondering if anyone had any specific advice, tips, and products i should get?

The more detailed the better! I want the best life for my new friend. I know i need a 40 gallon tank, no sand, lots of hides and foliage but what heat lamps, uvb, food, specific substrate, proper handling, anything i should know before i take him in?

Currently i cannot do a bioactive enclosure unfortunately, but i will in the future!

The leo is my old science teacher’s that i’m adopting. His name is Pepper and i love him.
